I've only known Mark for about 2 years now. In that time Mark has helped me walk through some of the most challenging periods of my life. He is an exemplary human and has become one of a small group I call friends. When the time was right and I asked my beloved to marry me I was faced with the dilemma of who would perform our wedding ceremony. I do not belong to a church, but I am very spiritual and the thought of a civil marriage was out of the question. On a whim I approached Mark and simply asked if he become ordained would he perform our ceremony? Mark took a few days to consider what I had asked of him then called me with confident resolve and commitment. I knew Mark well enough to know that when he commits to something he gives it 100% of his attention. He quickly became ordained and licensed by the State of Nevada. After meeting with me and my wife and discussing our vision for the wedding Mark took about a week to write four different, yet similar, ceremony scripts for us to choose from. All were clearly heartfelt and catered to our specific requests.

Our ceremony was very small, roughly 20 people, making it a very intimate event. Mark arrived early to meet my family and a few close friends. Looking back, Mark was not just mingling, he was getting to KNOW the most important people in my life and actively sought ways to make everyone feel special and an important part of the process. Mark's physical presence can be imposing, but he simultaneously commands attention and puts people at ease with his warm smile and soft delivery.

We could not have asked for a more perfect wedding. Mark expertly blended humor, tenderness and spirituality. It was as if Mark had performed wedding ceremonies for years based on his confident, deliberate and skillful delivery.

I don't write many reviews, but this is one I write without reservation. Mark clearly has a gift that is difficult to put into words, but absolutely made our day a memory that will never be forgotten. We are eternally grateful for Mark as a wedding facilitator, but more importantly as a beautiful human being. I cannot recommend Mark's services highly enough. Should you choose Mark for your most special day, Mark will exceed your expectations in every way.

Mark was an absolute thrill to have as our officiant! The ceremony that he wrote up was absolutely beautiful and flowed very well. Mark was very personable and just did an amazing job at capturing our special moment, I’d highly recommend him to anyone looking for an officiant in the Reno Tahoe area.
